WELCOME

Hi, I’m Katie.

I’m a freelance photographer and graphic designer based in Brighton.

I grew up with a love for all things creative, and decided from my early teens I wanted to be an editor. One of my earliest hobbies was stealing my dads camera and sneaking onto his computer to use his editing software to create my own videos. 

My creativity followed me throughout school and college and somewhere along the line I’ve been able to continue incorporating my hobbies into my studies and later on, work.

After completing my A-Levels, I took 2 years out. During this time I embarked on a media internship to focus on my creative skills and got stuck into as much as I possibly could.

My learning grew, I discovered more about this industry and what I truly enjoyed, and made some incredible friends in the industry who saw my potential and gave me some of my first freelance jobs - many who I am still in contact with and still work with today.

My love for filming and editing slowly transitioned into a love for photography and graphic design which led me to the University of Brighton to study Media Production where I launched my freelance business.

3 years and a first-class honours degree later, I am continuing to learn so much and grow my client base. I have a wide range of photographic experience ranging from corporate events to live music gigs and became a published photographer in 2023. With my design work I have produced web, print and branding projects and I’m always keen to expand!

It fills me with so much joy to continue my career in this industry, and I hope to showcase that energy and excitement through my creative work.


My Skills

  • I have experience working in a wide range of photography settings; from corporate events, award ceremonies, multi-venue festivals and music gigs, to headshots, graduations, weddings and product shoots.

    Whilst I primarily shoot with Sony, I also have knowledge using Canon and Nikon.

  • With qualifications in Digital Marketing, Business, English and creative skills, I have hands-on practical experience in copywriting, ideation, strategy and implementation as well as content creation using industry-standard software.
